Overview
These terms govern your use of this website, operated by Tapestry Bookkeeping ("we"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. The site provides information about our bookkeeping services and a way to request a quote. It does not constitute an offer to provide services, which are arranged separately through a written service agreement.
Scope of services
We provide bookkeeping and related support services. We do not provide audits, review engagements, compilations, other attestation services, or tax-return preparation or filing. Bookkeeping services are not a substitute for tax, legal, or accounting advice.
Fees
Our services are billed at monthly rates set out in your service agreement, based on your business's transaction volume and complexity. Your rate does not change unless the volume or scope of work changes as described in the agreement. Catch-up or clean-up work for books that are behind is quoted as a one-time fee before work begins. Services are month-to-month; there are no long-term contracts, and you may cancel as described in your service agreement.
Your responsibilities
Accurate books depend on complete, timely information. You agree to provide reasonable access to the financial accounts, records, and answers we need to perform the work, and to review and raise questions about delivered reports in a timely way.
No guarantee of outcome
Reports are prepared from information you and your financial institutions provide. While we perform an internal bookkeeping accuracy check, we do not provide assurance services and we do not guarantee outcomes that depend on factors outside our control, including tax results or business performance.
Confidentiality
We treat inquiries and engagement information as confidential, consistent with our Confidentiality page and any signed confidentiality agreement. Information you submit through this site is used to respond to your inquiry and is not sold to third parties.
No professional advice
Content on this site is general information about our services, not legal, tax, or accounting advice. You should consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation before making financial decisions.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tapestry Bookkeeping is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
